Game Night

True events from my D&D sessions and other tabletop roleplaying games. "Players expect the game world to make sense. They want verisimilitude. They want carefully planned characters with believable motivations. They want arduous attention to detail. Unless you're talking about loot, in which case they think nothing of getting a $1,000 Longsword in exchange for rescuing a $5 pig." -Chainmail Bikini

Asa, you have successfully made that goblin into your mummy slave. Unfortunately, though he understands common, he only speaks goblin.
Dammit! Al right, how can I translate what he's saying?
My sorcerer speaks goblin.
Or you could buy a Helm of Languages for about 50k.
Anything's worth not having to talk to the sorcerer.
