There are truly some great movies in the anime genre, as well as some shit ones. Do not dismiss an entire medium because of such things as Dragonball Z.

I have a certain affinity for Dragonball Z, but only because I don't think I've ever seen such a long series predicated on fights that lasts for thirty episodes and no one really dies.

I never saw Spirited Away.

I'm not much into anime anymore. I was president of the anime club at my old college, but I doubt you could find any proof of it.

I like to watch and mock anime sometimes but occasionally I find a worthwhile show.
