I couldn't quite decide on a topic for this one. It was down to "Why wirthling is a narrow-assed hoobajoob" and "Wirthling - He put the 'fucker' in 'apefucker'". So I picked neither.

In honor of my current situation as job seeker, the topic for #7 will be 'The Job Interview'.

We'll be pretty lax about constraints for this one. Use whatever you'd like in terms of backgrounds, characters, etc. Just keep on the subject of getting or interviewing for a job. That's it.

I jsut thought of a cool "non-contest". If one person were to start a serial comic strip and set the characters, make the first strip, and determine the next person to do the next strip in the sequence somehow... How to get it to work without people making conflicting strips (i.e.: two strip #2's by 2 different authors)..?

Read the first story ("What a Man!"). That's right: no vowels other than 'a'. And awkward as it is, it actually makes sense. It's about this guy who's an international spy/private eye (although of course it can't use those words). That's just hardcore, man.

This contest was kind of eerie, 'cause I'm looking for a job right now too. Seems everyone around here is either job-hunting or moving. Weird.

Er, that last post was me. I'm at a different computer and I forgot to log in.

And I'm still thinking about my entry. Though I ought to have plenty of real-life material to draw on.

I like the idea of a serial comic, too. What we should do is get a list of everyone interested in doing it and give everyone a number. Each person goes in turn then passes off to the next in line. When you get to the end, we go back to the beginning of the list. If anyone new shows up and wants to give it a try we tack them onto the end and just ease 'em on into the rotation.
