I watched Monsieur Verdoux last weekend, and it instantly became one of my top three films of all time (next to Brazil and E.T.). And I believe it knocked E.T. down to 3.

I just watched Death Proof last night and thought it was pretty damn good...there is a car chase scene towards the end of the movie that is the most amazing chase/stunt i have ever laid eyes on. it blew my mind

that whole scene with the girl on the hood holding on for dear life was the most amazing stunt sequence i've ever seen

Especially since the actress is doing her own stunts.  Or maybe that should be the other way around--the stuntwoman is doing her own acting. 

It's funny to see her almost hide her face a couple of times out of habit, as she would when doubling someone else--until she remembered that in this case we're supposed to see it.

I just watched a great little thriller called Afraid of the Dark. I can't remember if I put in on my Netflix because you had reviewed it, biped. Have you? If you haven't and you haven't seen it, then you should, because, WOW. 1992, James Fox flick. But he's not the main character. A young boy is. His mom is blind and somebody's running around slashing blind people in the face. It's a low budget film, but it doesn't matter because the script is just first-rate. It leans on Rear Window a bit, but definitely is its own film.
