I'm pointedly ignoring the drama and posting just to acknowledge that I've received my assignment and am working on my entry.  It should be ready within the next day or two.

I also want to congratulate Porternotes on his solid performance in the Cup, especially considering that he voluntarily took on the additional constraint of fitting his entries into his ongoing storyline.

This is in no way an attempt to influence votes in the current round.  Okay, maybe a little.

Even sadder to me than Porternotes completely off base comic were the comments on it by HCRoyall. Someone who couldn't beat me in this contest making salacious comments on my good name and completely lying through their teeth about my "Secret Accounts." It's sad that HCRoyall choose to take such a cowardly approach to this situation and attempt to fill people's minds with lies.

I miss the days when people on this site would at least back up their craziness. HCRoyall is petty and quite frankly, I would not mind seeing a warning sent by moderators telling him to mind his lies. It's ridiculous.

To all the people sending me emails, private messages, text messages, facebook messages, just know that I will continue to be around, but that this is no longer my number one passion. I've been pursuing other artistic avenues for years now and this place just does not afford me the satisfaction it has in the past. A lot of that has to do with the petty and vindictive behavior of individuals such as HCRoyall.

I wish you all the best (Except HCRoyall), continue following your hearts. As long as you do that, you will never be led astray.

As I absolutley HATE anything to do with "hip-hop" music I'm already leaning toward voting for the other guy but, in fairness, I'll sit back and keep my powder dry until the competitor emerges!  Maybe the unhippest hopper will win!

Sublime isn't necessarily hip hop, but they definitely have hip hop undertones. Kind of a weird thing to get all bent out of shape about, but some people have a short fuse. I get that! "...the resident INSANE person...", eh?  My life goal has finally been achieved!  In retrospect, it's now clear to me why all the shirts and coats my parents bought for me as a child all had 45 inch sleeves which tied in the back!  They told me I was a fashion maven. Having seen on the main page what I believe to be the entry of K vs K I'm confused...more than usual.  I still don't get the rules for this semi-final so judging is that much harder.  Obviously, I can't even tell "SKA" from "Hip-Hop" so what does THAT tell ya?  To be frank, instead of ragu4u for a minute, I must say I had wished these final rounds had not been so complex because somewhere in all the following of rules, humor, (you know...laughable shit) got left out or was rendered unintelligable.  Anyhoo, I'll wait till Kramers entry gets posted here before I'm forced to choose!

Ragu, to clarify, we're each entering a two part series, each part of which follows the rules from a different CC. So one part is the rule about summer, and the other part is the "one character six times" rule.

I opened a seperate tab and played the Sublime song in the background while reading evil_d's strip. I love parodies and this brought another level to the comic so I'm giving this one to evil_d.
