Scyess, for the most part I really like your CD. I am unfortunately unable to devote the time to a full review of it at this time. Remind me to do it later, though. I'll be more than glad to.

I figured you, at least, would like the European stuff -- but I have to say I'm a bit surprised you (or anyone) liked the Japanese stuff, even "for the most part." I'd also be surprised if there weren't more than a few tracks you've heard before, D.

But yeah, some of the japanese stuff was pretty cool.

Yes, there are an assload of cover songs on this mix. There are also a number of instrumentals. Whee!

What would have been fun would to have had a daisy chain of cover songs where each successive band covers a song from the previous band that played, with the first band covering the last band. I dediced that I didn't have enough songs or patience to try anything of the sort.

err. track three is not the original version. Rather, the original version came from the SNES game called Earthbound.

Just clarifying in case what I wrote was confusing.

Also, I'm aware that O Fortuna is from Orff's "Carmina Burana." I just kind of figured it went without saying at first, but figured I might as well clarify that as well.

Okay, so now that finals are effectively over, I will have some time to write about Scyess's disc, and just plain listen to ladyj's disk.

I'm going to get around to telling you people what I think of your discs eventually. I'll come back tommorow and post a little, then maybe come back latter for full review.

ladyj, your cd won't play in any cd player, stereo, dvd player or anything I have that isn't my cd-rw drive. Which makes listening to it hard.
