I want to let you all know that I think this was a really great contest we put on, and I'm really proud of the work we did here.
It's these times of coming together to put out some top-notch work that make this Comic Competition thread so special and unique. I think this contest in particular points to a new golden age of comic contests, and promises many superlative times to look forward to.
I know we had our differences, and at times I'm sure we all thought this was going to blow up in our faces, but I think we can step back now and chuckle at those more intense moments. Perhaps they were the fire in which the humor, wit, and warm-hearted tendernes on display in these comics were tempered, and given a finer edge.
So, I'd like to jus put out a big thank you to all who participated, and even those who merely viewed from afar with deep, silent admiartion of the solid work that was going on here. I'd also like to express my wishes for this contest to be a monument to you all going forward, and that many great collaborations and creative innovations will spring from this great meeting of the intellects that took place in these humble forum pages.
Oh, and ZMannZilla's "fart joke no. 3" won.
