Ok. Once again I had to enlist the help of my wife because making these decisions alone sucks. And once again I'd like to flog the dead horse and say that not having a voting system is hard.
Not being able to use the letter 'e' is harder than I thought. It's more restrictive than narrowing character or background choices down to one or two, I thought. You all did a great job with it.
The winner I chose was the one my wife and I both seemed to laugh at the most. And that comic was...

I should point out that since with each contest we're dealing with a tiny little dictatorship, the moderator can bend the rules as he/she sees fit. Which obviously I've done. Despite the fact that bunnerabb used an 'e' in his comic, we thought it was funny.
Since this is all in fun, I would hope none of you gets uptight over this decision. Ironically, it was bunnerabb who got a little miffed when bottlerocket won #4, stretching the 'woodenbadger' phrase quite a bit in his entry. This is a little different than creative interpretation and more breaking the rules... But damn it, it was funny. And that's what this whole contest is supposed to be about.
