But they were both literally horrible. The difference was the second one was funny, while the first one was just inane.

I think I agree with Drexle. There's horrible as regards the quality, ie "this soup is horrible" and horrible as in disturbing, pertaining to horror.

Thanks to my asshole dad, I totally forgot what I was going to put in this post... Oh yeah. So what kind of horrible are my comics? Or are they not horrible at all?

Alison, read carefully...

Imagine there are two girls. One of them likes to joke about herself, putting herself down in a funny kind of way. She doesn't really think the things she says are true - she just says them in an attempt to be funny. Then there is the other girl. She has a really low self-esteem, and she constantly puts herself down in public, not trying to be funny, but because she secretly wants people to disagree and tell her how great she is. It's a way of fishing around for compliments, trying to get people to say nice things about her so she feels better about herself.

The first girl can be funny, but a bit worrying. The second girl is a bit of a pain. Which one are you?

I just wrote a big post saying how much I disagreed, and that you're a great guy. But then I read it on the preview, and decided to hit the back button instead.

This didn't go as planned.

I think I'll just stay away from the whole forum section until things cool down a bit.
