An idea for a feature: Set ratings, and maybe a seperate section in "top rated" for top rated sets.

How about a page where you can see a list of all your comics sorted by rating? So that you can see more than just your top 10?

Or something along those lines

Or you can see your total rating on all of your own comics even if you only have one vote.  This can be done somewhere on the comic page or on a big list similar to top rated.

So?  What's wrong with that?

choadwarrior, for one, already has a "top rated" set.  And lots of people have a "best" or "favorites" set.

Although, now that I think about it, it might be pointless since you can put other users' comics in your own set.

it wouldn't be useless, it would just say less about the individual comic makers. it could even lead some people to put together some funny compilations, which i'm all for (best sodomy comics, may's funniest comics, whatever)

some new features i'd like to see:

-puddle character so the snowman can melt

-red and yellow waterstream props. there's blue, red, and yellow waterspray but only blue waterstream currently

- make a comic : your comics : edit account : log out : search : top rated : faq : wiki : forums also at the bottom of the page and not just at the top. that way i won't have to scroll all the way up after reading a thread just to get to my comics or whatever

-i'd love to see all the comics of a set on one page instead of having to arrow through them. makes the set a lot easier to read. as it is now, i basically don't unless they're posted in a thread 5 comics at a time

Disable the left and right arrow shortcuts when typing inside the comic comment area?

Can't count how many times I've gone back to the previous comic when I merely wanted to go back and change an error in my comment text.

I've been trying to remember to use my mouse for that, but I've been typing for 20 years and mousing for only 10. Old habits, unlike Bruce Willis, die hard.

I'd still like to see a "View all donor comics" link at the bottom. Maybe it's the elitist snob in me, but I like being able to browse pages of donors without mucking through all the regulars as well.

Alternatively, have favorite highlighted when someone goes to "View all comics."

it'd be great if we could set a cookie so that the obscenity filter stays off even when we're browsing while not logged in. same thing with reload page with comics. if for whatever reason you didn't want to offer it universally, you could make it a donor feature

I have a suggestion for the forums: Would it be possible to enable editing/deleting of forum posts? I understand that you might not want people to edit posts once others have replied, but what about just allowing editing of the last post (something I've seen on some other sites, though I can't remember which at the moment)? That would make it possible to correct minor mistakes that you don't notice until later, add things to a post when you think of something ten minutes later without having multiple posts in a row and looking like a crazy person, or retract a rant that you regret before it gets out of hand.

I realize that there is a preview function, but sometimes I, and possibly others, don't realize that something should be changed until I've had more time to think about it (and the previews aren't 100% accurate; try putting something in angle brackets - a pseudo-HTML tag - to see what I mean).
