Not really, if you think about the primary difference between mobile phones and pagers - one emits a constant stream of microwaves, and the other receives a small amount in one hit, and probablt send out a little bit more to tell the exchange it got the message. I think the former is far more likely to fuck up delicate machines than the latter.
