Fuzzy, I got yours in the mail this weekend. I'm in the middle of listening to it a second time. It seems good so far, not music I'd normally listen to, but not bad. You used the word "pretty" somewhere in the liner notes, and I think that's a good description for most of the tracks. Speaking of which, the disc and notes are very nice-looking. I can tell you already mine won't match up in that category.

For some reason, my home computer insisted there was nothing on the CD, but my work computer and car and home stereos (the latter of which is not famous for its ability to play CD-Rs) had no problem with it. Maybe it was just a fluke.

Still working on the arrangement for mine. Probably won't send it for a couple of weeks still, but I should make the April 11 deadline. I'll make a thread for it same as last time.

No, I'm not dead. My wife is pregnant, and the wonders of new life have overwhelmed my stripping concerns. I have been working on the Swap in my spare time and will finish up this weekend for mailing on 31 Mar. My group will be the beneficiaries of the deluxe package I want to make now because I know I won't have time for such revelry once the young one (hopefully) gets here.

Well I'm neither dead, expecting, nor going through a messy break-up but I have been out on a lifeboat to install a new radar system while puking my guts up into the English Channel for the last 3 days.

I have come home to discover I am overdrawn to the tune of next month's rent so I am afraid my target of last week for dispatch went to hell while the contents of my stomach were going to Davy Jones's Locker. You know how it goes.

It might now be Monday 31st before I dispatch. I just looked at the tracklist again and for a clubber I can't believe how much punk I've put on it.

I just want everyone to know I'm not dead. The fungus has stopped spreading, and I still retain enough use of my right foot to operate the CD tray and keyboard. If I can figure out how to get it through quarantine, I should have your disc out to you shortly. Wear a dust mask and rinse it gently in warm water -- you should be fine.

Unless those bastards at the local Post Office are screwing with me, my discs are in transit. I sent them out at 12:51:44 PM EST today (according to the receipt).

For those interested, total cost of goods and services purchased came to $13.64. I'm not counting stuff already on hand. Not a bad price for 4 CDs, eh?

I won't post a track list because part of the fun is seeing for yourself.

One note: My color cartridge was running out of ink on the last panels I printed (the cover--of all things). However, I don't think the overall look was affected, so I didn't redo them. Further, the "accident" speaks to the theory that error is part of the creation process. I can't remember who postulated said theory, but it works for me.

One last note:

I saved myself the trouble of filling out forms at the Post Office by telling the postal (not "going postal") employee that the two overseas packages contained CDs and that they were "gifts." He stamped them and sent them on through.
