Thank god there making a new one. True to the comic and Dolph Lungren isn't comming anywhere near it. Lets hold our breath on this one.

Oh, and I just saw Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines today, I think its very close in the the question of which is better: Terminator 2 VS Terminator 3. But I believe that T2 is better. Im deducting points on T3 because I had to see Arnold Schwarzenegger's ass on an I-Max screen. But im adding points because I got to see Kristanna Loken's ass and boobs on a I-max screen. It was kinda creepy, because she could make her tits any size she wants. There seemed to be more sex in this action movie, but as long as there is a hot chick involved, whatever.

you know, i haven't been in America for a long time and when i found out about the different changes that happened here while i was gone, it really seriously pissed me off.then i found out that RMDC was still open to everyone, and that made me a little happy. ssssssooooooooooo

What about Fight Club, Bladerunner, Pulp Fiction, Seven Samurai, Full Metal Jacket, Unforgiven, Taxi Driver, Clockwork Orange... etc.

In fact I would say theres very few really great films that don't have at least some sort of moral point of view.

Scyess, The second, fourth, and sixth Star Trek movies are generally considered to be good and some of the "family entertainment" movies Disney (and others) used to make were good (e.g. Mary Poppins, The Absent Minded Professor). Otherwise, I'd tend to agree with you. Most action and kung fu movies are fun, but I wouldn't necessarily call them good.

BTW, if you can find it, see the movie Incubus (1965). It stars William Shatner and all the dialogue is in Esperanto. In case you don't believe me. This movie is the pinnacle of movie horror, and I don't mean that in a good way.

I will admit that Disney has been improving in recent years, but that's beause they realize their movies have to be marketable not only to kids but also to their parents and also to people who were smart enough not to have kids.

I like those Star Trek movies, and yes, I do believe the other ones suck to varying degrees. The worst was Star Trek V. Shatner's direction wasn't so bad, but his story ideas definitely were.

And Disney (live action) movies have been getting worse, not better. They used to be imaginative and different, now they're mostly remakes of their old movies, and painfully bad movies built on licensed properties, such as Inspector Gadget and My Favorite Martian.

Oh, and Fred MacMurray rocks. Repeat after me: "FLUBBER DOES NOT DANCE!"
