But today I received a document for review with a note on it "What do you think?". a document that is a yawn even when you know it is part of your future, but when it is not is positively walking death.

Not really. I listen to emo and I am not depressed. Emo is basically an offshoot of punk. It is underground. It does involve deep lyrics, but hardly makes us depressed :-) unless you are an overemotional sissy. Check out Saves The Day (ranks up there in my favs), The Juliana Theory, Dashboard Confessional (he is kind of a whiny baby) to name a couple

If you are interested in how ska met punk; Reel Big Fish, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Hippos, Less Than Jake are a few

Well, I suppose in some cases. In the case of Saves the Day however, they are a BAND with talent. The only reason I think they are classified as emo nowadays is because in their most recent albums they hae strayed from the harder edge they once had.

Wanna hear a really cool cd. Check out "Through Being Cool" by Saves the Day or "Can't Slow Down. Now those are awesome cds. Saves the Day happens to be one of my favs.
