I think what DexX really means is that you should avoid redundant narration. If we get the information from the dialogue or images, then we shouldn't also get it from the narration.

If you think that's an exaggeration, you obviously haven't been looking through the front page.

In The Search For Love, chicka, the narration in the first panel is absolutely necessary. And while the second-panel narration isn't, it does help to set up the third-panel narration, which, while also not strictly necessry, does help. So I wouldn't fret over it.

Another bad use of narration is when people pack it as tightly as they can with backstory and explanation. If your plot is too complex to survive without that, it's too complex for the Strip Creator. Or you should at least consider making a series out of it. I don't feel like making up an example for this type of bad comic. If I find one, I'll post it.

When I first came to Strip Creator all my comics had narration for some reason. I just saw that you could put some and I always did. Then i realized it was unneccesary.
Fire Boobs still makes me chuckle and Incompetent Boobs is a classic.

The only thing I find more annoying than comics with too much narration is comics with narration that has absolutely nothing to do with the strip itself.
