Chrysler Research and Developement The Lowly Tire valve has been around Forever, they are inexpensive, reliable, And last the life of the wheels But - we came up with an idea that would improve the safety of our vehicles by creating a tire valve that senses tire pressure The sensor Can warn you of a low tire, potentially saving lives! We spent millions in research, millions in testing, We need to sell them for $160 each to justify it We buy them from China - they only cost us $8 but we can still sell them for $160 The cheap aluminum crumbles and the tire goes flat! I've had 4 failures in 2 years. I could have been killed - I replaced them with $3 valve stems

I found that comic to be very funny and I can relate as I also receive numerous flat tires. I drive a different kind of car and it has nothing to do with valve stems, but don't even get me started on how annoying flat tires are!

Nobody should get "numerous" flat tires.  You need to examine the matter from a different perspective.
