I wonder what I'm made out of?
I know. I just took an AP Biology class at Harvard.
I know we are made of cells, but what are the cells made of?
Cells are made of organelles, Bob!
What's an organelle and how do they work?
Organelles are the building blocks of cells; there are many different types.

It's Spring Cleaning Day! Today I will be telling you what you need to do to clean each room!
Sounds like fun! Let's start in my room.
Windex the mirror to protect it from smudges (Plasma membrane protects cell). Then sort through your clothes (Golgi Apparatus sorts through proteins) so they can be put away in the correct drawers.
This sounds like a lot of work.
Vesicles transport products, like phones send messages!
After you get the clothes in the drawers (drawers are the ER, which stores lipids and steroids in the cell) then clean your phone screen (Phone-Vesicles).
Then we will move on to the next room!

Now we are going to be heading to the bathroom.
Great.. I'm so excited!
First clean the vanity, as it organizes everything for you (centrosome). Then take a rag (microvelli) and wash up the tub, and floor.
This is a lot of stuff to do.
Finally use a broom (cilia & flageila) and sweep the floors. Then take some disinfectantspray, and clean off the toilet, (Nucleolus).
Sounds good, what room are we doing next?

The most important part of a house is the family that lives in it. (Nucleus) We change what we need to make it what we want it to be. All activities are directed by us.
Today, we will be cooking in the kitchen. Everything we make using the kitchen appliances (Ribosomes) is food that we will eat.

In the kitchen u'll do the dishes scraping the food particles into the drain. The blade will represent the Lysosomes which'll break down the food particles.
That's cool, but how does it all start?
To start the Lysosomes u'll need to turn in the switch which'll represent the Mitochondria. The Proteasomes and Peroxisomes are already in the Lysosomes as well.
What does Proteasomes and Peroxisomes do in the Lysosomes?
They both also help break down food particles, but in a more complex way.
Cool! Now on to the next room!

Yay, I love food!
Good think the house walls (Cytoskeleton) are here otherwise it would be really hard to cook on a rainy day!
