	When I was in fifth grade, my teacher's boyfriend was a cop. He would sometimes come in and talk about working in the county jail.


	One thing I remember vividly was how he said he and the other deputies would look the other way when the prisoners would have sex in the showers.


	If he was trying to scare us straight, it didn't work.
