Game Night

True events from my D&D sessions and other tabletop roleplaying games. "Players expect the game world to make sense. They want verisimilitude. They want carefully planned characters with believable motivations. They want arduous attention to detail. Unless you're talking about loot, in which case they think nothing of getting a $1,000 Longsword in exchange for rescuing a $5 pig." -Chainmail Bikini

As your characters search the woods for the Elder Vampire's hidden sanctuary, you are beset by a pack of werewolves. They snarl as they recognize you as vampires, then attack.
"Let's get some silver weapons," I said. "We might Need them, since there are werewolves in the woods," I said. "No," you said. "It costs too much money," you said. "We'll be fine," you said.
I think we can agree that the goth freak is clearly at fault for this.
