Meet Tweety, a proverbial "canary in a coal mine"... This particular mine was flourishing for decades, right up to the time Obama got elected in 2008.

But, due to overbearing regulation and red tape over the last four years, the mine began to falter. And, after Obama's re-election, the owners of the mine decided to give up and permanently close it.
(Apparently, they forgot to take the canary with them when they abandoned said mine.)
