Based on an idea I got from andydougan I'd like to post a Dramatis Personae. But since I don't know those words I'm just going to introduce the

Cast

Jon -- idiot savant occasional super hero and main character. He longs for romance while women long for him to go away. Terribly original I know.
Jim -- cowboy and pervert Jim enjoys abusing those weaker than himself. He has a soft spot for pedophilia.
Tataki -- Jon's main love interest. She's cute violent and totally uninterested in sex or romance.
Cowdjinn -- Jon's best friend a pink cow who lives chained in his closet.
Samantha -- demonic sub-creature and the only female friend Jon has.
Earl -- a spiritual pilgrim Earl wanders the earth looking for truth.
Sanna -- Jon's other roommate & the only normal person around
etc. -- damn; out of space

Presidential contender Barak Obama today said that guns should be kept away from the mentally ill.
Not only did he have the nerve to say something that painfully obvious just for a sound byte, but we, the American press, stroked him off by actually reporting this bullshit.
And you, the American public, are actually listening to it! How's that for a steaming pile of crap, folks?

That's a stupid comment anyway. There's already laws in place that dictate people who are admitted, voluntarily or otherwise, to any kind of institution/hospital for treatment of a psychological problem are denied handguns. And how the fuck would you know someone who just snapped was mentally ill until they snapped anyway?

There are those laws, but many states have privacy laws making it difficult or impossible to find out whether someone's been under psychological care. Nevertheless, in a vacuum, it was a stupid statement, and a pathetic attempt at grabbing a sound byte. Thus the four comics ridiculing it.
