I have a rant at my blog about how the right thing to do is buy insurance and put your money in a bank, not to some fly by night "charity" like the red cross* or starvation army.

So I'm saying donating is a waste of effort, but also giving a link for how to do it. If you don't want to send money, you could make a comic.
