I spent all day on stupid wild goose chases related to trying to collect rent from my deadbeat roommate and the crackhead mechanic who lives in my garage.
This morning I was in the bath when some shady lady at the door wants my roommate for an emergency, on the day when he was supposed to have his tax check and pay the rent, so i totally went off.
It kind of cleared the air, and he showed me the paperwork for the check, explained the scam he was running, got him to sign an agreement to pay me, got his financial data, took him to a job agency.
The check hasn't come yet, and i missed the mechanic when he came by with $, but i filled out a job application at the agency, so that trip wasn't wasted, although the roommate won't work tomorrow cuz
he forgot to bring his driver's license. I have a second interview at ups tomorrow, but it doesn't look good. I'm here to type up a to do list, so I'm making comics instead.
