So for the past week I've been offline in E'ville Indiana, 2nd of three weeks of an oxycotin study, but at least we get the weekends off.
The facility is old and rusty and crowded and hectic, but the pay is pretty good and there are some regulars who keep up the comeraderie.
We have to take the pills, but we don't have to eat the food - that can really make or break the study experience.
This study pays $3K. There's another one that pays $17K, but you have to know somebody to get on the waiting list.
$17K would be about right - a year's pay, but I'd be climbing the walls after two months in that place.
There's no place where it's quiet enough to read a book, and the water usually wasn't hot enough for a shower - if I could have showered with a tube in my arm.
