I'm at 47 books read (at least started) this year, with about 4 days to go. For the past couple years I've been reading and blogging 50 books a year.
It's one of those internet memes i picked up somewhere, maybe from will baude's gff.
of course, the 50 books Will reads are stuff like Justice Story's 3 volume history of the constitution, and the books I read are like "Girl Genius", a book version of the webcomic.
And then Will's day job is law clerk to the dread Justice Roberts, and my day job is.. basically nothing.
Now and then I get paid to have mad scientists stick me with needles. It's a living.
