saturday i went to the bmv to get plates for my geo, but their computers were down so they threw everybody out, and they are closed tomorrow and monday. but i'm not upset or frustrated because i have
low expectations of them. i did laundry and got triple AAA to tow my car from the old house which i should have done a month ago. i started getting my seeds and planters out so i can start some seeds
water bill $75. bar dues $50. credit card $1200 to pay monday.
email from chris, the baby's daddy, wants to help me clean my house so i said yes, but we aren't in town at the same time so it's tricky.
i bought ten cents of ginger from the corner store to check it out, it's an ok low budget store in walking distance but i don't really buy food. i think i left the ginger outside have to run get it.
now i'm too tired to go out to a club. this happens every saturday.
i'm working on some memos in response to the brief from mississippi that i got yesterday. the guy made the mistake of upping the ante, so now i want to come back harder.
i cleaned the coffee maker, took out trash, did dishes, time to make a new list. easy but productive day. i feel good. my tulips are coming up and the hollyhocks and daffodils.
sunday i did 3 things. i had soup with food not bombs, hung out with 4 of my old roommates, went ok.
i went to the all night gay diner, and was able to get online there, although i didnt do much productive work. had 2 cups coffee and 1 drink. talked to mom when she called. dumpster dived some pizzas and the big dumpsters where i used to live. just some miscellaneous spices and canned goods and dishes that i'd missed getting before. havent finished unloading the car. oh and i bought a sunday paper so i can see if there are still want ads, like help wanted type ads. that's how i got a jobwhen i first moved to town 22 years ago, but it's possible it's all moved online.
