in which i get the car running finally

	once upon a time, a man had a fox, a goose, a bag of grain, and a rowboat. today i had a dead battery, did not have the tools to remove it, and the auto parts store wouldn't do it because i was 5 feet


	off their property line, and rules are rules. so i bought a battery, $169, and hooked it up to drive into the parking lot, where he installed it 3 hours later. then i drove to the place with free air


	for the flat tire. too late for the bank or the po box, but my set at crackers went fine, and i got 4 boxes of free groceries on the way home


	my hobo roommate made a list of things to fix around he house, since we both know he hasn't paid rent in a year. he bounces between here, his girlfriend's, and some land of mine tommy gave him.


	i should call tommy. just did. maybe go for a visit this weekend. for now, i need to put away food, work on the brief, do dishes.


	when i started this comic 15 years ago, i was not doing standup yet, but here i am.

i also did plasma today $100. bought gas $32. i have a headlight out. tesla tanked about $2000 today but it'll come back next week after they crunch the numbers from yesterday's earnings report, which were good. elon scares people sometimes.
