	first day went well. it was an audition, and chef liked me and hired me. we haggled about pay and i still don't know if i'm at $14 or $15 or what.


	fancy food, good dishroom setup, cute teenage coworker, everybody was nice.


	i came home and crashed out. been a while since i've done honest work like that. sunday up at the crack of noon, food not bombs, went to a club, tipped this dancer ken-doll who i've been wanting to


	meet, $20 washed a few dishes, swept a little, but the house is trashed and needs help. i apparently have a rat, from the way the food in the living room was strewn around.

tomorrow plasma, possible $40 medical study. memo, brief, take out trash.


	found a microwave, not tested yet, a backup power supply, that works, some eggs, some scrap metal.


	no i guess it doesn't work. now off to test the microwave. which either doesn't work or i haven't figured out its buttons yet. it lights up but so far doesn't turn on.
