i missed first friday again but this time i had a reason

	routine friday at work. i missed first friday events. wroked till 10:15. i paid $100 on the internet bill, did not buy gas, spent 20 minutes cleaning house and yard, washed my own dishes.


	too busy to deep clean at work. the buzz is that chef is going around telling management what a great job i'm doing.


	this week i have been a bad lawyer and a good dishwasher.


	the old lady who had the job for 40 years and is off on a medical leave said i was doing a good job taking care of it while she is away.


	my coworker is her grandson. he's kinda cute which can be awkward; we work very closely together.


	i have taken to wearing a tie to work; it confuses them.
