	thursday i did not go do standup because a blizzard was coming through.


	for the next few days i huddled up in my room as it got really cold. by saturday the fishtank and the toilet and bathtub had frozen over.


	on monday it got warmer and the pipes broke and flooded the kitchen. i got the water turned off for now, but i will need to get a plumber, me and 1000 other people.


	the plasma center was closed, and i lost a load of laundry at the laundromat.


	i did not do much writing, but i did find a new disclaimer controversy in minnesota and just wrote to some of the people involved after doing research last night.


	tomorrow if i get up in time i will try plasma again and then shower at work before work and look for my lost laundry. i am wearing some warm socks my sister sent me.

the highlight of my otherwise sucky day was i stopped at a local bar for fried biscuits with apple butter, a hoosier delicacy, home fries and coffee. i paid with a $20 and she gave me $10 too much change so i had her doublecheck it and give me the right change, and then left a decent tip. it was a slight human connection in an otherwise bleak day.
