It was with this comic that I finally let the critics get to me. There was an incredible amount of critical backlash at the last strip, and my publisher at the time was threatening to void my contract unless I produced another hit. All this pressure from all sides rendered me very self conscious about my work's quality, as evidenced in the title. With this strip, sales only continued to spiral, and I went through my third divorce (I didn't mention the second one because it sucked).
