By this time, I was literally losing thousands of dollars for every comic I made. I had to produce another hit along the lines of "The perfect thing to say when people insult you", or I'd be totally bankrupt. This was one of my many misguided attempts at scoring a hit. My method was to try a positive, appealing anti-drug approach, but unfortunately the big hippie counterculture movement cropped up around this time and this became my worst-selling comic ever.

On top of that, this was the last comic Brian contributed on. He was found dead in his swimming pool just a few months after the strip was released.
