I don't know what any of this means so I can't tell if having the guy with the suit wait a while before saying his line helps it. Why does he wait? Did he not think of the line fast enough to make it in the first panel? If you're going to make a character say something clever you should have him do it immediately. Comics aren't real. You may have taken a few seconds to think of something witty but this little yellow haired guy in a suit is made up, so why put a limit on his cleverness? Wouldn't it be cooler to have a guy who is so clever that things actually pop into his fucking head when he hears the set up instead of thinking about it a while then coming back with a joke like any other cunt. suit-l.gif is known for his slow wit, they'll say. I don't understand why the hero of your comics is so fucking average. What if John McClane waited a while before working out how to save the day? Everyone would be dead and he wouldn't be a fucking action hero. Heroes should be extraordinary. Your little guy in the suit could be like John McClane.
