	First of all, I'd like to welcome you all to my poetry slam. Thank you all for meeting at the Cranebrook Elementary School auditorium for this performance.


	Before we begin, I'd like to announce that Edward Lopez was the only latin child to acheive perfect attendance this year. Way to go Edward!


	Now to really speak to the amount of Puerto Rican children who are in attendace tonight we have a 20 minute video tribute to big Pun.

The come from an Irish-Mexican-American background and young Edward was named after the mother's father.
