Football Newsroom

Football is one of my great passions, and therefore the source of a lot of comedy and tragedy in my life. The comedy is here. If you want the tragedy, just put 'Hibernian F.C.' into wikipedia. The 'Football Newsroom' series started during the 2006 world cup as a series of observations and bad holocaust puns. Its now the main throughfare for any football jokes I think up. Other footy related stuff is tacked on to the end of this set.

	English tabloid newspapers are talking of Alan Shearer becoming the new England coach


	As you may know, current manager Sven Goran Erikkson is to step down after the world cup to manage Bayern Munich


	Erikkson was quoted as saying that no other club would have suited his tactics


	After all, where else would he be able to bring on Owen Hargreaves after seventy minutes
