word. i'd make panel 3 just them staring, and panel 4 the "38." you can tell i was trying to simulate this by making the pause as long as possible by having her say the line in the second panel and him the line in the third

you might be right. i struggled with that when i first made it. if i put Kelly in the first panel, i worried i'd be stepping on "murderous manhair." this really needs to be 4 panels for pacing
