If you're an avid message board user, then you've probably come across this fun little message board game at least once in your vast internet travels. It's very popular with message boards based on forms of media with a huge main cast. Basically all you do is this:
1. Everyone starts out with 10 points.
2. Any user can remove a point and add a point to any entrant they wish.
3. Alternatively, they may take two away or add two to any user rather that adding one and taking one.
4. If someone runs out of points, they're out. The last one left wins.
5. It would probably work best to make hurting -2 points and healing only +1, because it would take forever the other way.
So here's an example, using the main Seinfeld cast as an extremely limited example.
Start:
Jerry - 10
Elaine - 10
George - 10
Kramer - 10
If I were to post in this thread, I personally would say "Heal Kramer, Hurt Elaine" because Elaine is the least interesting. The score would then be:
Kramer: 11
Jerry: 10
George: 10
Elaine: 8
Lots of people post their hurt and heal votes. This keeps going until only one person is left. In this case it would be Kramer, because everyone likes Kramer. Voting is totally unlimited and people can do it whenever they want, but you have to wait an hour after your last one before you can do it again.
And, as you probably guessed, the topic of this Hurt And Heal are the biggest characters of all, the SC staff! Everyone sign up sign up. Even if you don't sign up you can still vote, so don't worry about that if you don't make the cut. I'll probably make the cut at 40 members, but that could change.
May the best whatever win! I am the first participant on the signup. Only 39 slots (maybe) left, so hurry hurry!
