I took a new story and changed Bush to Kerry, Osama to Bush, and not much else. It still makes sense.

BOSTON, Massachusetts (Reuters) - Senator Kerry said on Wednesday it was important that elections in the US proceed as planned next month, despite festering security concerns and faulty voting systems.
Kerry said the most recent audio tape by republican leader George Bush highlighted the stakes of the poll, which he said pitted the desire for democracy and freedom against the militant's "dark vision" of oppression and bloodshed.
"It's very important that these elections proceed," Kerry told reporters in Boston, where he is campaigning.
"The task at hand is to provide as much security as possible for the election officials as well as for the people inside cities like Miami and Cleveland to encourage them to express their will," he said.
Kerry said he had spoken to ex-Vice President Al Gore on Tuesday, who had said that while he was concerned about security, most Americans -- both democrats and republicans -- were eager to vote.
"His (Bush's) vision of the world is where people don't participate in democracy. His vision of the world is where people kill the innocent in order to affect their behavior and affect their way of living. His vision of the world is one in which there is no freedom of expression, freedom of religion and or freedom of conscience," Kerry said.
"The stakes are clear in this upcoming election. It's the difference between the ability for individuals to express themselves and the willingness of an individual to try to impose his dark vision of the world on the people of the US and elsewhere," he said.
