Well, most of the characters didn't get to do much or show much personality, but I liked em anyway. Drexle's actually the first person I've ever known to have really disliked Suikoden (and that's the first time I've heard it was hyped, I thought it was totally unknown). As for me, S1 is tied with Final Fantasy 8 as my favorite RPG.

I've still never played any of the other Suikoden games, as I don't have a PS2 and it's absolutely freakin impossible to find S2. I've asked about it at used game stores and they said there's no chance they'll ever be able to get it. Damn Konami for rereleasing the first but not second.

The first two Suikoden games are among the most sought after RPGs, along with Xenogears. Your best bet is to try eBay.
