I feel like another 4 years of Bush REALLY would galvanize these fence-sitters and armchair liberals into doing something, but who the fuck knows? No. Even if their quality of life is threatened... as it has been with recession, high anxiety from pointless terrorism warnings, bad medicare policies and the retardation of the American education system... they would still find a way to blame it on Dems, or whoever isn't in power.

Americans will unfortunately never change. Part of me wishes the South had seceded from the North for good after the civil war. Some advice for anyone considering voting for that ridiculous Democrat candidate.

The progressive party will always feel empowered than its right-wing rival to be reactionary in government. That's what we've learned over here in the last seven years. No one "has you down good". It's simple. Vote for who you want to win.

More empowered, that is.

If you go back far enough (like forty years) you can make all sorts of points that in actuality don't mean anything. Outdated policies from the 60's doesn't mean shit, if you're talking about the direction of the future. Johnson, Goldwater, Nixon... they're all redundant in this election. If it did mean anything, then I could make the argument that Republicans are still breaking into the DNC and keeping the black man down in the south.

Hmmn... now there's something to think about...
