On the topic of borrowing ideas, I noticed that stripcreator.com added a character browser and comic commenting following the lead of wittycomics.com. I encourage competition. You guys have a better stripcreator.com because of wittycomics.com.

You see the thing is steve, this thread started with squid showing us different comic creation sites, each having their own particular spin on how to create a comic, some of which were frankly a bit naff to say the least (although I agree Squids humour certainly trancended these well anyway), but in their own ways they were original and did something different. Your site is not, and does not.
The reason my fellow strippers feel a little irate is simply because you are passing off a mediocre version of stripcreator as original work. And please dont try to deny it, because you'd just make yourself look a bit foolish really. There was another site a while back which pulled the same stunt, right down an almost identikit front page (and I must say yours is pretty similar) and I believe it got shitted on by us aswell (and rightly so)
Im by no means saying Brad has a licence over the 3 strip format, but for fucks sake can you not come up with an original idea, or do something new with it at least, hell there are a million and one different things you could try, and give credit where its due. You know there is one really telling sign that you're a complete fuckwit, and thats using PHPBB and not even knowing how to link your user info into it. Muppet. And you see there in lies the difference, Brad has over the past 5 or so years created and tinkered with this site, occasionally adding new features here and there. DO NOT be so bolchy as to believe your shitty little photocopy of this site has anything to do with improvements over here.
If you'd honestly fessed up from the start and put a note on your site saying inspired by SC or whatever, people here probably wouldnt have a problem (or at least not as much) becasue you would have acknowledged that in all fairness SC deserves the credit for the idea, or if you'd even tried to do something different (here's a freeby, 3 people in one panel, b'jesus and thats just off the top of me noggin) then you may have gained a bit more respect.
I encourage competition, I encourage ideas, what I dont encourage is talentless pricks passing off someone elses ideas as their own. By the way your learn PHP in 21 days book is probably due back at the library Shit head.
