You mean funny in the "I'll put something about sex and some f words in, so they laugh when they see it" way? I don't subscribe to this kind of funny stuff. You can be funny without being rude and relating to sex in every strip. That's what I'm aiming for. Check out RedMeat.com to see what I mean.

I read all your strips and only one made me smile, It was the one that was sexually suggestive about Demi Moore. So I guess you just disproved your own point there.

Very few of my comics rely on dick jokes etc. Oh apart from the Wizards Rule series, but I guess I am just sayiong this for the punlicity.That was a spelling mistake, but I'm gonna leave it in.

I was writing about tons above tons of strips that I found here, no names mentioned, that rely mostly on dick jokes and sex allusions. And you can still bve funny (and it's even harder) without putting in all this crap. I guess I'm getting conservative about strips. It doesn't bother me in comic books though, and still Preacher is one of the best ones I've read :)
Besides, the Demi Moore one you're reffering to doesn't have a sex joke in it, it's just a comment on this woodblock that calls herself actress :)

I'd say keep going and don't be afraid to screw up. Most people on the site did a crapload of really bad comics at the beginning while they found their legs and you should too. I think you're on to something with the less is more thing, now experiment with it.

The movie you referenced was Striptease with Demi Moore, which was about a STRIPPER, which is definitely a sexual occupation. If you wanted to reference a movie where she sucked, why not reference One Crazy Summer or something like that, hmm?
