There is now a fruity yellow star where the ugly purple ball was before to denote new posts. You can still click this icon in the thread list to jump to the first new post of a thread.

Also added: moderator functions which none of you should see but me. So if crazy stuff starts to happen while I'm out for the weekend, I'll at least know why.
