Morality? Haha, you make me laugh heartily. Did you really think the legal system was in place to define our morals? Also, do you consider that gay people are somehow your moral inferiors?
I hardly feel that gay men and women are "manipulating" the legal system, since in most places in the world they're not allowed to marry. If they could really exert the sort of influence you describe, then I think they'd have done so by now.
Further, where did you get this "example" of yours from? I notice you didn't source it to anywhere - sounds like the sort of garbage you hear in Church sermons along the lines of "a man I once knew..." or "in my last parish..." Since you have failed to establish the authenticity of this account, I suspect you either made it up or else heard it via word of mouth from a gaybasher.
The example is flawed because, as mAAk rightly points out, if the guy in question had wanted to leave everything to his lover, then his will gave him that power. He could've left his entire wealth to a cat, if he'd so chosen - there are cases where people do this. A less extreme example is where the deceased leaves their fortune to charity, cutting their relatives out completely. Thus, I really don't see why the man would have adopted his lover, since if his concern was with the 19 year old getting his money when he died, he would've had no need so to do.
In the mean time, have a think on those 'morals' of yours, there's a good thing.
