All Your Base has never stopped being funny to me. I'd still be making comics about it if I could think of any new material. I think that when most people say "it's not funny anymore", what they really mean is "all the jokes have been made already". Humor doesn't just stop being funny, but it can get worn-out. It's too bad that that happened in this case.
What I don't get, though, is the people who rushed to say "it's over, stop talking about it" the second AYB showed up in some place like FoxTrot or The Onion. As if things are only funny when the "mainstream" doesn't know about them. They were like people shushing you in a theater because you were laughing at a comedy.
