The first one was terrible. The grammar is atrocious and detracts from an already poor comic.

The second one was poor-to-okay. The fact that you aren't overly narrating your comics as a new person puts you ahead of the rest already. Just bring on the funny.

I agree the first one was crap. The zombie/tenticle joke was okay, but lacking something. I think if you got rid of the tenticle's dialog in the 2nd panel it would be much better.

Still, not bad for a new kid. Welcome aboard.
