the first time i didn't like it because i thought the guy on the right was confused and didn't understand and was repeating back what the other guy had said to the best of his understanding

(BREATH)

but when i read it a couple of hours later i liked it because i got that the guy on the right was saying, to paraphrase, "but how do we buy cheese with cheese." then it was funny

you could probbly lose the confusion by ditching the "?" next time and putting a "but" in front of the guy on the right's statement
