Here we go again. If you are seriously interested in sending and receiving a music CD from other Stripcreator users, here is your chance. Look deep within yourself--if there's a good chance you'll flake for whatever reason, join us at some other time.

Here's the drill:

1) Merely state your desire to join Swap Seven by replying to this thread.

2) Then, please send an email to choadwarrior@san.rr.com with your mailing/shipping address. I will use your email address to contact you after everyone has signed up.

03) You will be grouped with other individuals (number to be determined) for the purpose of exchanging music CDs that you create (at least one each). The CDs should be playable on regular home or car stereo disc players. Don't send out a disc filled with 300 mp3s.

04) By signing up for Swap Seven, you express your explicit desire to both give and receive music.

If you haven't sent out discs from the last swap, please get those out if you want to participate in this swap. You can sign up, just sincerely promise to me that you'll get them out if you do.

Thanks. If you have any questions or requests, please include them in your email to me.

I'd like to join in.

Can I petition that we establish some sort of rule about CD presentation? I know fuzzyman, jes and Scyess all put in good efforts in the last swap I was in (way back when) regarding their CD covers, but some of the CDs I received have since been lost in the inner recesses of my room because they had no case, cover or anything.

If people are worried about postage, perhaps they could design a cover and post it online for other people to save and print out? I just think it makes it more special if people put in the effort. Any old sod can bung a few tracks on a CD and click "burn", after all. But where's the fun in that, I ask?

Fuj - make sure you know how to burn CDs on your PC, I am NOT making yours this time, I will barely have the time to get a half-decent cover made for my own!

In light of Jes' post, I stand corrected...

But my petition remains!

We have 14...one or two more would make it easier to divide up into even groups. Any other reliable people game?

Also, I don't have mailing addresses yet from:

Ivy
Scyess
Phreaky
Fuj
Jes

Yes, I know I swapped with some of you in the past, but I don't hang onto the addresses once I've mailed the CDs. This means no Christmas cards from me either.

Fine, see if I send you a uniform letter detailing every great event in my life and filled with lots of pictures of people you don't know.

At risk of putting off other people by posting more off topic chat, I liked the postcard you sent.

Okay...Groups are set. I repeat: Groups are set.

One snag--I'm lacking a few e-mail addresses from the people who pm'ed me their mailing addresses. Since this is how I communicate your group members and addresses, I need those of you listed below to shoot it to me via e-mail or pm:

I NEED:

Fuj

I might have:

Phreaky (I have a gmail address from you in my irc log--is that what you want me to use?)

Scyess (I'm using the one on your SC profile)

flippynif (do you want me to use the "support@..." address, or will that go to any random support person working at the time? Either confirm or send me an alternate e-mail address.
