You insult people in retaliation to their criticism. When you post your comics in this forum, you're putting them up there for everybody to read, and for everybody to criticize. People can say what they want, and you're not being the better person by telling everyone who doesn't like your comics "stfu fgt my comics are t3h best"

man its not criticism that people say. its just insults. and i dont have to lay down and take that stuff. criticism is when someone tells you how to improve. i've yet to receice criticism.

Thank you for proving my first point. Your comics are bad. The only way to improve them is the "plug 'n chug" method, which is to keep making them until you hit upon something that works. You don't want us telling you that your comics are crap? Stop posting them here. But if you keep bolstering this "assraped fucktard" image we have of you, we'll tell you your comics suck even if you DO make something good.

k maybe you guys have a point. how about i stop being so defensive if you guys dont always shoot down my comics and instead just give some friendly criticism. i just wana make jokes, not fight.

I think i'd just like people not to keep creating new threads every time they make a few new comics.

Other than that, i still think its acceptable - if not preferable - for someone to say a comic is shit if they don't like it. If they don't say anything constructive then thats their problem. Its not as if anyone visiting the thread is going to read the first comment, completely believe it, and not bother reading the comic or replying to the thread. In any case, the people that fly around leaving replies of 'shit' or 'die' or 'stop making comics' are generally well known for doing so and, as such, their comments and opinions hold little or no weight on these forums.

If you get one of these comments, its best just to ignore it. Thats just what everyone else will do unless the original poster retaliates, causing flame-wars you maybe remember from such threads as 'Funny comic that is first one' and 'Da Vinci Code comic... funny... i think'.
