It looks like you were playing around with the characters and backgrounds and having fun with them, but not really seriously trying to be funny. However, your comics did start getting a bit funnier toward the end of the day, so I predict that once you get settled in, you will start making funnier comics. One thing, though--please leave off the captions unless they are necessary to the comic, because otherwise they're just a distraction.
